A note on the shootings in Nashville.

To my readers,

I sincerely apologize.

I had an entire, fun-loving, sarcastic newsletter ready to send out on Tuesday.

But Tuesday happened, and it didn’t feel proper reading the room.

How are we supposed to laugh at what people are Googling when they’re Googling “School shooting” and “School shootings + Nashville” and “Nashville police?”

We aren’t supposed to.

So I just wanted to drop in and tell you that it’s okay if you’re not okay.

I wanted to tell you to check in on your teacher friends, kids, and neighbors.

And mostly, I wanted to tell you that it’s okay to turn off your social media notifications and be Extremely Offline sometimes.
